Who Wants to Marry a Duke Review:
“Who Wants to Marry a Duke” is the third book in the Duke Dynasty series and revolves around Thorn and Olivia, and I thought it was a pleasant continuation to the series.
I enjoyed Olivia a lot and thought she was the best heroine in the series. I loved her passion for science and how she handles the investigation by checking for arson. Even when she falls for Thorn, she does not let him get in the way of her love for being a chemist. Similarly, Thorn was fun to read. While he is not as captivating as Joshua from the previous book, I liked how the author portrayed his conflicted feelings for Olivia.
The author also makes the story stand out with how Olivia and Thorn meet. It was different as they had already met years before, and it didn’t end well. Thorn suspects Olivia’s family as a connection in his father’s death. I also enjoyed the storyline revolving around Juncker and how the character ends up playing a significant role in Thorn and Olivia’s relationship (because of Thorn’s secret). As with the previous books in the series, the author does not shy away from romance. Olivia and Thorn are great together in their scenes.
Moreover, the author also progresses the mystery element nicely, albeit I wish the storyline moved faster. We are not closer to where we were in the previous two books than who the villain is. I feel it would be the last book in the series as Sheridan is still single. The author sparked my interest in the mystery villain after the family and trying to sabotage their plans. It would be interesting to see how the series concludes, and I look forward to reading “Undercover Duke.”
