CHRIS CROSSED MURDER Review:
Just when I thought the series could not top itself, the author introduced “Chris Crossed Murder,” and let me tell you, even though I have read the series in sequence, this book was probably my favorite!
The author grabbed my attention when I thought Chris had died. We learn that it is a mistake identity (or identity theft?), and Chris and the Geezer Squad must investigate why this person was imitating him. The author also adds twists and turns where the likes of the mafia get thrown into the tale. I love how fresh she makes each story in the series, where you love revisiting the characters, but the adventures they encounter are unlike the previous novels.
I loved reuniting with the Geezer Squad. They are so cool, and as I have said in my earlier reviews, I wish to be more like them! I loved Jacqui, Elliott, and Francine; they made the whole series special. Similarly, I also loved reading about Sterling and could not wait to find out what shenanigans he performed.
Overall, even if you are not a fan of the series, you should read this book (although I suggest you read the series from the beginning to appreciate it wholeheartedly).
