Not everyone at Wynter House is thrilled about this wedding.

Secrets have been revealed and new relationships begun. Now it’s time to look to the future. Neva and Rafe are in love and so are Adam and Hazel. Jo’s love life leaves a lot to be desired, although Gavin could remedy that.

But Rafe’s grandmother, Olivia still hopes that something will tear Rafe and Neva apart. Hazel’s new assignment means nursing someone back to health … and there’s history between them. And Jo’s receiving texts from her ex-fiancé.

Then Rafe’s first wife, Pippa – the woman who broke his heart, unexpectedly arrives. And she’s even more beautiful and irresistible than Rafe remembers.

When everyone is looking to the future, will the past prove to be too strong?

There will be a wedding at Wynter House … but who will be the bride and groom?

A Wedding at Wynter House Review:

This is one of those feel-good romantic comedies that just warms your heart and puts a smile on your face. I have not read the previous books in the series, yet I had no trouble getting into the story. True, there are a few references to the previous books that I couldn’t understand. But this made me want to pick them up and find out how it all started.

The characters are so charming that you immediately like them from the get go. The author blends the emotions well with the story-lines. On one hand, I was invested in the drama between Rafe and Neva and Pippa. On the other hand, I was laughing out loud with Jo’s antics, and her meetup with Ed. Jo and Neva also share a very nice friendship. Moreover, I loved Olivia and thought she was fantastic. I also loved Hazel and Adam and wanted to read more about them. On a side note, I also liked the side plot of the corpse buried under Devon Villa. The story was just entertaining throughout.

However, I would have loved if the story was longer. The plot is very fast at times, where if you miss a line, you a miss a lot! It would have been so interesting if Olivia and Pippa were more prominent in the story. Moreover, since I have not caught up on the series, I would have loved this book even more had I read the previous books.

Overall, “A Wedding at Wynter House” is sweet and charming and made me a fan of the series. I’m going to start reading all the previous books to catch up on what happened.
