The Eternal Dusk Review:

I thought the first book was good, but the second turned out to be even better! There are so many twists and turns that the author put in to make it so interesting.

Firstly, I loved how the characters are swapped between their environments. Alexander spends half the time stuck in London, while Fia spends her time in Ohinyan. The supporting characters are also amazing and add well to the story. Characters like Jo and Sophie are more prominent. Also, I loved the scenes with Sophie and Alexander and thought it added another layer of mystery. Erebus is awesome as the villain and I loved how he takes charge of the story. Although I loved Lorn as the villain in Book one, Erebus pushes her to the corner and manipulates the characters in a diabolical way.

The world building continues with new locations and situations. I loved the new world of Ornax, and new characters like Hazel and Okwata. There is also a shocking death that I did not see coming. Fia and Dante’s scenes was the highlight! I just couldn’t get enough of the story.

My only criticism is Alexander’s whining. This guy needs a course on self-confidence, because he keeps whining and punishing himself for letting everyone down. I understand his frustrations, but his moodiness just brought down the excitement of the story.

Apart from that, this was such a fun book to read! Initially, I thought this was a duo-logy, but it ends in a cliffhanger! Which means, there is going to be another one in the series. I can’t wait! Overall, “The Eternal Dusk” is a wonderful continuation and increased my expectations for the next book.
