The First to Lie Review:

Oh my goodness! What a rollercoaster of a ride this story was.

Where do I begin? There is just so much happening the entire time where you cannot skip a sentence. On one side you have Ellie who is investigating Pharminex. Then you have Meg who focuses more on Ellie than her work, making Ellie uncomfortable. After that comes Nora, the sales rep of Pharminex who needs to ensure that the new hot drug is sold. You think you have the story set, and then a new POV arrives whose name is Brooke! And then Lacey takes another storyline! These multiple POV keep the story completely entertaining. I loved it!

Moreover, each character is distinctive in their personalities where you get the feeling that something is not right. While it took me some time to adjust to the story because there are so many characters, the plot picked up in an amazing manner! After a while, the twists and turns start dropping like crazy and they are wild! Your mind seriously goes for a toss as you get immersed and shocked with each surprising twist. Of course, there are some scenes which you know would never fly in reality. But the story is so entertaining and gripping that I was turning the page like crazy to find out what happened next.

This is definitely one of those stories that you pause and take in after reading it. Altogether, it’s definitely a memorable read and a story that will stick on to you for a while. Overall, this is one of the best psychological mystery thrillers I have read this year!
