A Real Royal Christmess Review:

A radiant romance mixed with royalty makes “A Real Royal Christmess” fun and enjoyable!

The main thing I loved about the story is the pacing and the chemistry between the two characters. As Jess and Jamie spend more time together, they start to realize each other’s flaws and charm. One of my favorite scenes in the story was when they go fishing, and Jess opens up to Jamie about her fears.

More than Jess, I loved Jamie’s character. The author wrote him wonderfully. You feel his dilemma through the story as he struggles between following his responsibility vs. his dreams and aspirations. The story was very memorable because of his character. I also liked Jess a lot but felt she was a bit immature for aspiring to be Colin after treating her shabbily. While I enjoyed her charming sense of humor and innocence, I wish she had taken the trip for moving on instead of winning Colin back.

Moreover, the supporting characters are also nicely placed, but I wished we had seen more of them. Phill and Molly are cute together. I wish they had also been prominent in the tale because I loved Molly’s character. Similarly, I wish we had seen more of Colin and Arabella to spice up the story. While I loved the focus on Jess and Jamie, it was a tad formulaic. It would have been nice to see some of the other front burner characters just for a few minutes.

Overall, this was a cute modern-age, fairy tale romance which I enjoyed.
