Christmas Cookie Cozies Review:

I love cozy mysteries, Christmas, and anthologies! Put them all together, and voila, you get “Christmas Cookie Cozies”!

Firstly, I must say that I loved the concept and idea behind the book. This year has been mediocre at best, but we don’t have to end it with a sour note. The authors have compiled this adorable collection of short stories for readers to sit on.

While I loved all the stories, my favorites were “Holly Jolly Misdeeds,” “Caramelized Casualty,” and “Christmas Cookie Caper.” Moreover, none of the stories felt repetitive, which made this quite an eclectic selection! Also, each author brought their unique storytelling style, which made each of them stand out. For instance, “Cookies and Crime” had a darker note involving a murder mystery, which stood apart from the others. Similarly, “How the Cookie Crumbles” had a cheerful, festive vibe to it, which ended the book by making me feel all Christmassy.

Overall, “Christmas Cookie Cozies” is just one of those books that you want to read if you want a festival story with a touch of mystery to it. I voluntarily reviewed a gushing copy of this book, which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.
