You heard the story on the news. A girl and a boy went into the woods. The girl carried a picnic basket. The boy wore bright yellow running shoes. The girl found her way out, but the boy never did….
Everyone thinks they know what happened. Some say Tabby pushed him off that cliff— she didn’t even like hiking. She was jealous. She had more than her share of demons. Others think he fell accidentally—she loved Mark. She would never hurt him…even if he hurt her.
But what’s the real story? In All Eyes On Her, everyone has something to tell about Tabby but nothing comes from her. All the people in her life string together the events that led Tabby to that cliff. This included her best friend, her sister and her enemy. Her ex-boyfriend. Because everybody thinks they know a girl better than she knows herself.
What do you think is the truth?

All Eyes on Her Review:
“All Eyes on Her” is a young adult thriller that deals with a murder mystery and how it impacts the teens involved.
I loved the way the author executed the story. The author does a beautiful job of interacting with the reader by changing the cast’s perspectives, including snippets of text messages, news articles, and comments. You get a sense of what the characters are going through and how they react to situations based on the news coverage.
Moreover, I enjoyed the suspense of the story. In the beginning, the story seems straightforward. But as we dive in, we get tidbits of information that make us shift our crime perspective. The second half of the story is on FIRE with the trial scenes, and I could not put the book down. I always love a good mystery thriller with a riveting court trial, and this book perfectly delivers it.
The characters are all interesting too. Each of them holds their share of secrets, and you start to wonder how the events impact Tabitha. It was interesting how my perspective of Tabitha changed in the story. From the beginning, you despise her as she is the prime suspect. However, as the story progresses, you wonder who the murderer could be.
However, the story does stagger when you tend to get the perspective of all the characters. For instance, one new piece of information would come out, and you would get a detailed analysis of all the characters from their viewpoint. While this is fun, at times, it seemed to stagger the plot and made it longer than I expected.
Overall, “All Eyes on Her” is a gripping young adult thriller that will keep you guessing.
