About the Author:

Back in the Stone Age, well, maybe not that far back…
When Linda Karimo was very young, she learned to read at her Irish immigrant grandmother’s knee, who was just learning English herself.

Indeed, they read all the classic children’s stories together. There was one in particular that became the inspiration for Linda’s current series of children’s books.

Moving forward, Linda was always a ravenous reader. She would often read all the books by a given author and then go on yet another great fiction author. Nevertheless, Espionage, legal, medical, suspense, and some “who done it” were her game.
Her day job as a Copywriter paid the bills while she dreamed of writing an extraordinary series of children’s books.
So, what childhood story prompted Linda to write a series about those characters?
It was Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Linda’s nickname was always Goldilocks.
She transports her readers into the world of bears whose lives are not much different than humans, bear style.
She has a conversational writing style and wants her readers to feel a part of the action taking place, not just looking through the window watching it all going by.
Indeed, a Lifetime full of love and compassion!.

Baby Bear’s Spaghetti Misadventures Review:

Oh, my goodness! What a lot of trouble Baby Bear gets into, but what a cute book this turned out to be!

The first thing which I liked about the story is that it is fun and educational. It shows the realities of how difficult it is for parents to continually keep an eye on their children while doing their work. At times, I was angry at Mama Bear for not focusing on her child and doing her job. But on the other hand, it was interesting to see how she balances her work and takes care of him when he is naughty. The author balances the book’s tone very nicely, mixed with fun moments and serious ones. It’s a children’s book that both the child with enjoy and the grown-up would connect.

Moreover, I loved the questions that the author asks before turning the page. This method makes reading the story interactive between the adults and the children. I can see a lot of possibilities for the due to and their adventures. I am also curious to know what happened to Papa Bear, as we do not see him in the book.

The illustrations are also adorable by Garry Vaux. They are simple yet vibrant and colorful. I adored the expressions of Mama and Baby Bear when they react to all of Baby Bear’s shenanigans. Moreover, The book excitingly displays the images. The story had a graphic novel vibe to it, where it uses the same background for 2-3 pictures before moving on.

Overall, I thought this was a lovely start to a possible long term series, and am curious to see how it progresses.
