I’ll Meet You in Your Dreams Review:
“I’ll Meet You in Your Dreams” is a beautiful children’s story that portrays the love of a parent for their child, and it warmed my heart!
Firstly, the author takes the reader on a beautiful journal from lighthouse, rainbows, castles to twinking stars. Secondly, I loved that the author doesn’t focus only on the bond between a mother and child. The story also includes the relationship between father and son and young and old. Moreover, it makes you realize that no matter, how old you get, you will always be a baby for your parent, and they will always hold a special place in your heart and protect you no matter what.
Similarly, the author also uses quite a few complex words for children that will help develop their minds, and the beautiful images will hold their interest and get them to read more. Furthermore, illustrations are a critical aspect in children’s books, and this book was a delight for the eyes! Rafael Lopez did an excellent job with the illustrations using vibrant colors that please the eye. Also, the story changes tones from night to day, ground to sky, land to water, and the illustrations make you look something to look forward to on every page. I particularly love the images where they soar with wings on their back and where the woman hugs the lighthouse. Each illustration made me feel warm and loved, and I a few moments appreciating the details.
Overall, “I’ll Meet You in Your Dreams” is a beautiful children’s book to give your young ones and one that will also make the parents remember the love from their parents.
