Hold on to that feeling of a holiday by the sea with this gorgeous romance.
‘A wonderfully warm, romantic read’ Karen Clarke
Bella is happiest running her tiny antique business from the front room of her cottage on the Boardwalk.
To ensure she has enough income coming in, she also rents out two of her bedrooms to paying lodgers.
But she didn’t count on having a secret crush on Jack Collins, one of her lodgers and her best friend’s brother…
With enough complications in her life, her world-travelling mother appears on her doorstep. This is on the same evening that Jack’s ex-fiancée arrives on the Boardwalk determined to win him back.
Bella has a lot of thinking to do and soon discovers that not all gems sparkle.

Love Begins at Golden Sands Bay Review:
I was captivated by the author’s skillful portrayal of Bella’s emotional journey. The narrative beautifully delves into Bella’s interactions with Jack, her unsettling encounter with Nicki, and her profound contemplations about her friends, mother, and life on the island. The exploration of character dynamics is masterful, with Bella’s introspections and sentiments adding layers to her personal growth.
Moreover, the ensemble cast of supporting characters added depth to the story. For instance, Megan’s vulnerability was artfully depicted, bringing her character to life. Similarly, Nicki’s manipulative behavior added a spicy touch to the narrative, making her a compelling antagonist. The relationships and interplay among these characters serve as the driving force behind the plot’s progression. Also, Claire’s evolving relationship with Bella introduced its own dramatic flair, effectively highlighting the complexity of family ties, the challenge of unexpected guests, and the friction between Bella’s quest for serenity and the disruptions caused by her mother.
The narrative also offers intriguing glimpses into mysterious symbols, leaving me eager to discover whether the author will further explore this storyline in the upcoming book.
If I were to pinpoint a slight drawback in the tale, it would be the gradual development of Bella and Jack’s romantic connection. Their dynamic often felt more akin to close friendship, making the transition to romance seem rushed in the latter part of the story. I still found them charming, but their romance did not wow me like Sasha and Alessandro from the previous book.
Notwithstanding this, “Love Begins at Golden Sands Bay” was a delightful read that I thoroughly enjoyed, considering it a skillful continuation of the series.
