I am so glad you enjoyed the story. I learned about Oscar when I saw his portrait hanging in the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, England. There he was hanging amidst renowned British Admirals and Seamen of distinction. I researched to learn his amazing adventures and decided his story must be told, and in an entertaining, whimsical way. I had fun writing it.
