In time, the Tentorians come officially to be a nation, showing more and more their true nature: blood and power-thirsty, human-bodied machines. Thus, in the 25th century, the great powers made up their minds to hunt them down all over the world and have them isolated inside a region called TENTORIA.

A Tentorian nation that will bear consequences on the past.

TENTORIA Review:

Tentoria is a gripping thrill ride with a fascinating premise and smart cast and was a fun book to read.

The story is a bit bumpy in the beginning as the narrative skips timelines and goes way into the future. However, the story picks up once Cole sees an ‘alien’ and gets captured by officials and taken into a facility. From then on, the plot is a rollercoaster ride and filled with action and adventure.

Moreover, I loved the concept of the story. The author paints the future as a grim dystopian nightmare filled with cyborgs and artificial intelligence. The scenes where Claire explains the pros and cons of the world to Cole engrossed me. Similarly, the author narrates the tale in a gripping manner where you feel like the situations mentioned in the book would happen in reality. I love books that touch on current events and makes you ponder on how the future would develop as.

At the same time, the author also wrote the characters nicely. I liked Cole and Claire and their relationship. Similarly, Chris and Arnar are also memorable in their storyline. I also liked the world-building and the rules of the Island. Many of the scenes are action-packed and very entertaining, and I enjoyed reading most of the book.

However, the ending felt rushed. The author resolves most of the storylines too quickly towards the climax. Moreover, there were still some questions unanswered, so I am assuming there will be a sequel?

Overall, do read this book if you love dystopian, futuristic, action books, or movies like The Terminator.
