The Cruiser Review:

It’s been a while since I read a refreshing romance, and “The Cruiser” is a great start to “The Hustlers” Trilogy series.

Firstly, I loved how personal the author got with the characters. Vandana and Morgan shine in the lead, and I enjoyed how the author flipped between their perspectives. The chemistry the two of them share sizzles off the pages. I liked how they maintained their professionalism while Morgan and Vandana still tried to fight their attraction for each other. What’s love about the author’s writing style is how the author balances the characters’ emotions with action, adventure, and steamy romance. On the one hand, I felt so much towards Vandana and especially felt terrible for her towards the end. On the other hand, the author steams up the pages, and I had to cool myself down after reading some scenes.

Even the supporting characters and the side storylines are entertaining. While I was not too fond of Derek, he also grew on me towards the end. The author also writes the relationship between Vandana and her mother realistically, and I adored TQ, June, and Flynn. They provided the perfect comic relief whenever the story got too serious.

Moreover, the author also writes the plot excitingly, where we see Vandana go on a worldwide adventure and live the jet-setting lifestyle of yachts. Some memorable moments that stood out for me were when Morgan gets into a fight over Vandana or when she meets his family.

Overall, I thought “The Cruiser” was a lovely start to the series, and I cannot wait to read about Flynn’s storyline in the continuation.
