The Hollow Husband Review:
Stella held the lead well, yet I was torn about her character. Balancing her personal life with David on one side and investigations with Alan on the other, I admired her detective skills and enjoyed her partnership with Alan. Still, I couldn’t help wondering why David seemed to walk all over her like a doormat. While I get the author’s attempt to portray her differently, it came off a bit peculiar.
Nevertheless, I did appreciate the dynamic between Stella and Alan. They were the shining stars of the story, and I enjoyed the camaraderie they shared. Even supporting characters like Britney and Stella’s parents added a nice touch. The author skillfully paced the story, leading to a surprising climax that caught me off guard. What stood out was how my perception of the characters evolved as the story unfolded. Some of my highlights were twists and turns, especially those involving Ryan or James Walker. In summary, “The Hollow Husband” is a decent thriller, although it takes some time to gain momentum. Once it does, it is an entertaining read and worth checking out if you are a fan of psychological thrillers.Book Tour Schedule
