The Townsbridge's Series Review:

I recently read "The Townsbridges" series and found the stories to be heartwarming and beautiful. What's nice about the series is how unique each storyline is from one another and never felt repetitious.
"Once Upon a Townsbridge Story" was an adorable start to the series revolving around Margaret and George. I liked the dynamic they shared and the twist the author added to George's past relationships. Moreover, I enjoyed how the author spiced the story when Shrewsberry comes into the picture.
"When Love Leads To Scandal" was much better, and I loved that the author provided more details. The angst and romance between Charles and Bethany are great, even though she is engaged to marry Robert. I was wondering how this would play out in the end.
The third book, "Lady Abigail's Perfect Match," was fun to read, primarily because of the way Abigail and James meet. They do not meet under the best circumstance and initially dislike each other. It was interesting to read how their feelings changed over the course.
"Falling for Mr. Townsbridge" was another lovely addition as William falls in love with the cook Eloise. I liked how the author put this story of romance with conflicting social status. Margaret and Athena were also compelling characters who spiced the story. This story was my favorite from the series.
I adored "A Duke for Miss Townsbridge" mainly because of Matthew. The author wrote his character wonderfully. You feel his pain when you learn about his traumatic past and wonder how he will get past it.
The last story, "An Unexpected Temptation," was also a good addition but not as strong as others.
Overall, "The Townsbridges" is a lovely collection of stories to pick up if you are in the mood for a charming historical romance.
